Amazon has upped the ante ahead of its Prime Day summer sale by releasing 24-hour cut-price deals on the popular card games Exploding Kittens and Bears vs Babies for its Prime members.

The online retailer has been rolling out lightning deals in the build-up to Prime Day on Monday, July 16. Some of those offers include 30% off Exploding Kittens (a fun version of Russian Roulette for adults) and its sister card game Bears vs. Babies, where players build monsters that go to war with babies.

The offer ends at 11.59pm on Tuesday, July 10.

The Prime Day sale was first launched in 2015 to mark the company's 20th anniversary and proved so popular that it has since evolved into a yearly event for bargain hunters. Around a million deals will be up for grabs for Prime customers.

Meanwhile, Amazon is also offering its Prime members four months off Prime Music for 99p from Amazon Music Unlimited (AMU) - a deal that expires on Tuesday, July 31.

AMU streaming stands at £9.99 per month, chipped down to £7.99 for Amazon Prime members.

With the 99p deal, customers can listen to around 40 million songs. The offer also works with Alexa devices such as Echo.

Those who are not Prime members have been handed a window to also get hold of the special deals.

Amazon is offering a free 30-day trial, meaning it is not too late to sign up and also be eligible for those offers.

New members will then be charged £7.99 per month once the trial period expires.
