Treat your taste buds to the best street food in the county at the Chatham Maritime Food and Drink Festival.
Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend, from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5 with a feast of foodie delights in the Medway town.
This bumper four-day festival takes place at Dock Square, overlooking the water and the Chatham Maritime Estate near the Historic Dockyard Chatham, and will bring together dishes from a variety of independent traders.
Visitors can expect some of the best food from around the county, with many local food producers setting up shop over the weekend.
Some of the Kent-based stands that will be open during the festival include Hide and Greek and Rad Burger, both from Canterbury, and the Kent Cider Company from Faversham.
There will also be a number of artisan producers from the surrounding area serving international cuisine such as Brazilian, Japanese, Spanish and more.
If you’ve had your fill of food and drink, you can take part in the many activities that will be happening on the waterfront, from dragon boat racing to endurance sailing. If you’re taking young ones with you, there will be a funfair and messy play area for them to enjoy.
When you’ve tired yourself out, sit back with a cold drink and listen to the line-up of live music and DJs that will be playing plenty of feel-good music throughout the festival.
Make the most of the long weekend with this delicious food and drink festival.
