September's here, but there's still a summer sale happening at two animal parks in the county.
Running until Monday, September 30, Howletts Wild Animal Park near Canterbury is offering 20% off the price of its Animal Experiences, from unforgettable animal encounters to full-day ‘behind the scenes’ experiences.
Available for bookings up to Thursday, October 31, animal fans can find out what it is like to work with some of the world’s most rare and endangered animals, with a Keeper For The Day, Junior Ranger or Keeper Academy Experience, or come face to face with some of the incredible animals at the park and learn about them from the experts, with a 30 minute Animal Encounter.
Both Howletts and Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve near Hythe will also see the return of their popular Kids Go Free offer.
Also available through to Monday, September 30, the offer will see children from three to 15 enjoy free entry to the popular attractions when accompanied by a full paying adult.
At Port Lympne, visitors can jump on board a safari truck to see wild animals, including Kent’s only giraffes, watch some lion cubs rough and tumble, and meet rhinos.
You can also step back to the prehistoric ages with the UK’s largest outdoor dinosaur exhibition, Dinosaur Forest, featuring life sized creatures.
Howletts is home to the largest herd of African elephants in the UK, including calf, Nusu and its Animals of the Ice Age attraction, also featuring life sized beasts from a frozen time.
To claim one of the offers visit the parks’ websites, and fill out the online form.
