Tails will be wagging as pooches get their very own festive fete this weekend.
The Festive Dog Fete - complete with the chance to visit Santa Paws - is coming to Maidstone's Lockmeadow complex.
The free event at Lockmeadow market hall on Saturday, November 20, comes after a successful dog fete back in the summer.
Cllr Martin Round from Maidstone council said of the summer's trial event: “With the boom in dog ownership during lockdown, it was aimed at helping new pet owners and attracted a lot of different customers to the market hall. It was a great success and I’m sure this Christmas event will see another host of dogs and their owners turn up for some fun and shopping."
Running from 10am to 3pm, the fete will include festive shopping for pooches, and a visit to Santa Paws where dogs can sit next to Santa and have their photo taken, for a donation to charity.
There will also competitions, including a Dogs Look Like Their Owners contest, demonstrations from a dog training company, hot chocolate, waffles and hotdogs.
The recently opened new food hall Love Food @ Lockmeadow is also dog friendly.
