This Christmas, you can get into the spirit of things with family tickets to the brilliant Beauty and the Beast panto at the White Rock Theatre in Hastings.

The theatre, which is only a short trip across the Kent/Sussex border, is putting on its annual panto with plenty of audience participation, colourful costumes and sing-along songs.

Audiences can follow Belle as she meets the Beast and, after seeing his softer side, teams up with the enchanted furniture and a cast of quirky characters to help turn him back into his old self.

This year, this tale as old as time has been given the X Factor.

Two stars from Simon Cowell’s singing competition - Amelia Lily and Andy Abraham - will be warming up their vocal chords to appear in Beauty and the Beast.
