It's a time for picnicking and promenading in a beautiful setting.

Organisers have announced that the date for Leeds Castle's open-air classical concert will be Saturday, July 9.

Tickets for the hugely popular event are now on sale, with those booking early getting an early bird discount on seated and picnic-style tickets.

This summer the sun shone for an afternoon of music, with swing from the Definitive Rat Pack and a rousing programme from the world famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Local Strictly Come Dancing stars James and Ola Jordan also got the crowd on their feet as they lead them in a Viennese waltz, supported by Junior Ballroom champions Katie and Max Harrison from Kingswood.

The full line-up will be announced in the coming months.
