They may be almost a year away, but tickets to comedian Bill Bailey's four shows in the county are likely to get snapped up quickly when they go on sale tomorrow.
The British Comedy Award winner, who has been described as a "hobbit with a wicked sense of humour" and, by fellow comedian Stephen Fry as "like driving a Rolls Royce off-road" will perform four dates in the county in April and May 2018.
His latest show, Larks in Transit, is a compendium of travellers' tales and general shenanigans of 20 years as a travelling comedian.
With his trademark surreal tangents and intelligence, he will tackle politics, philosophy and the pursuit of happiness.
The star of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, who has also appeared in Jonathan Creek and Skins, is also a well known International Animal Rescue supporter, an Ambassador for Youth Music, supporter of many charities, and will walk 100 miles for Stand Up to Cancer this summer in memory of his mother who lost her battle with bowel cancer in 2005.
His show will be at Margate Winter Gardens on Saturday, April 21, and the Central Theatre at Chatham on Tuesday, May 5. It then heads to the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells for two nights on Thursday, May 3 and Friday, May 4.
All shows start at 8pm and tickets cost £27.50. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, May 12. To book go to TicketMaster.co.uk or call 0844 844 0444.
