Comic duo Dick and Dom are to join the line-up of a family festival being staged in the county this Easter.
The pair will join a stellar line-up of musicians and entertainers on Dreamland's outdoor Scenic Stage as part of Camp Bestival's return to the Margate venue.
Camp Bestival takes over Dreamland throughout the Easter school holidays, from Saturday, April 4 to Sunday, April 19, becoming Camp Bestival’s Travelling Circus with an extended day of music, colour and family-fun running from 10am to 8pm on Easter Sunday, April 12.
In addition to the daily park entertainment, the Easter Sunday party will feature Dick and Dom, Don Letts, The Heatwave, Steam Down Live, Rob da Bank and DJ BBQ.
Camp Bestival curator Rob da Bank said: “We had a complete blast at Dreamland last Easter so we thought we’d do it all again. I can’t wait to open up the main stage with specials guests Dick and Dom bringing their full riotous ruckus alongside old pals DJ BBQ, Don Letts and dancehall legends The Heatwave.”
The attraction, which also turns 100 this year, reopens for the season on Saturday, April 4, complete with bunting, confetti canon and daily fun and games for the two-week Camp Bestival takeover.
There will be performances by Circus Raj, gameshow Brillig, nature workshops, arts and crafts, family raves, and film screenings on various days.
The park is free to enter, and guests can pay per ride or buy discounted ride wristbands in advance online.
