From the Dumping Ground to royalty, the star of CBBC’s Tracy Beaker will play the part of Cinderella in a Kent panto.
Dani Harmer is known by kids for playing the role of the youngster who lives in a care home, in The Story of Tracy Beaker and in Tracy Beaker Returns, she made a comeback as a care worker, which received the highest ratings ever for the CBBC channel in its time.
The character was created by best-selling children’s author Jacqueline Wilson.
Dani then had her own hit show, Dani’s House, and in 2012 she reached the final of the BBC1 series of Strictly Come Dancing, with her dance partner Vincent Simone.
The 26-year-old started her acting career at the young age of six, performing in the West End musical Tommy and the national tour of Annie.
