X-Factor finalists from last year, 5 After Midnight, will be among the stars coming out for Dartford's Christmas lights switch-on this weekend.
The band made such an impression on Simon Cowell after ending the show in third place, that he signed them to his record label Syco Music.
They join other stars from the show on the label, including Little Mix, James Arthur and Ella Henderson.
They will be performing at the switch-on on Saturday, November 18, giving local fans a preview of the new EP Sauce, which is due for release soon.
They join stars of Cinderella, the Orchard Theatre's panto this year, high-kicking Louie Spence, who will play Buttons, and Cinderella herself, Jayne Wisener on stage.
The build-up to the Big Christmas Switch-On starts from 2.15pm at One Bell Corner and includes performances by Adam Hoffman, the Robbie Williams Experience and 5 After Midnight coming on stage around 4.30pm.
The lights switch-on, with the Mayor, Cllr Rosanna Currans, is expected to be just after 5pm.
