Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, September 20 at 10am and can be booked online here.

The dates include five shows at London’s O2 Arena in February next year, with two matinee performances set to take place.

The cast of this year’s glittering series made their first appearance on the Strictly dancefloor in the launch show, where professional dancer Amy Dowden also made her return to the competition after being diagnosed with breast cancer last year.

She was partnered with a celebrity for the first time since 2022 as viewers watched her emotional pairing with JLS star JB Gill, who lives on an 11-acre farm in Sevenoaks.

Singer Toyah Willcox, Love Island contestant Tasha Ghouri, Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and Morning Live’s Dr Punam Krishan were also paired up with their professional partners.

Also appearing in this year’s series are Olympians Montell Douglas and Tom Dean, reality star Pete Wicks, former hockey player Sam Quek, comedian Chris McCausland, opera singer Wynne Evans, X Factor winner Shayne Ward, EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick, former footballer Paul Merson and DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles.

There were no same-sex couples in the show for the first time since 2019.

A BBC spokesman said that “Strictly pairings have never been about ticking boxes”, and each season of the show is “unique and there is no hard and fast rule on the show regarding same-sex pairings”.

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One for its first live show of the series on Saturday, September 21 from 7pm.
