Former Strictly winner Tom Chambers will star in the genre-defining Hitchcock thriller, Dial M for Murder in Dartford.
The show, based on Frederick Knott’s play, is directed by Anthony Banks, and stars Tom as ex-tennis pro Tony Wendice and Sally Bretton of BBC's Not Going Out as his wife, Margot.
When Tony discovers she has been unfaithful his mind turns to revenge and the pursuit of the ‘perfect crime’.
Tom, who won the sixth series of Strictly, is also a familiar face from Casualty, Holby City, Emmerdale and Midsomer Murders.
His co-star, Sally Bretton, is well known as Lucy in the BBC's sitcom, Not Going Out. She has also appeared in Death in Paradise, The Office, and Casualty.
Coronation Street's Christopher Harper performs two roles, Captain Lesgate and Inspector Hubbard while Hollyoaks star Michael Salami appears as Max Halliday, Margot’s lover.
It is at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford, from Monday, January 27 to Saturday, February 1.
