Experience the magic of animation at this year’s Canterbury Anifest 2013.
It is the 7th year of the community event, which offers a range of workshops, behind-the-scenes presentations from industry professionals, screenings and family-friendly events.
This year’s festival will take place at Canterbury Christ Church University’s Augustine House, and will feature a special appearance by popular children’s character Shaun the Sheep.
Film fans also won’t want to miss a talk by Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor and animation director Michael Fink, who will be offering an insight into working on films including Blade Runner, Star Trek, X-Men, Avatar and Life of Pi.
Festival director Dan Richards said: “We’ve got something for everyone, family fun with our workshops, talks from some of the industry’s best creators, evening entertainment with comedy and live music and short animations from around the world. So whether you are a budding filmmaker, an industry expert, love animation or just want family fun or brilliant weekend out, come and join us.”
