Thought as parents that your clubbing days were almost over? Think again.
Award-winning family rave crew Big Fish Little Fish is dancing into Dreamland for a nautically themed clubbing date.
The team, which run events across the country and at festivals throughout the summer, is aiming the clubbing afternoon in the Margate attraction at parents with babies and children aged up to eight.
It will take place in the Dreamland Ballroom from 2pm until 4pm on Saturday, April 9.
Margate’s Will Nicol from the Northern Soul Rave Patrol will be captain of the ship – playing music from a bounty of club classics.
Away from the dancefloor, children can unleash their creativity at the craft tables or by joining in on a giant collaborative colouring mural.
Families with younger children can kick back in the baby chill area with soft mats and beanbags while toddlers waddle in and out of pop up tents and tunnels in the toddler play zone.
With a licensed bar for the mums and dads, free glowsticks, transfer tattoos and a smoothie to take home – every family member will be sporting a smiley face and that’s before the glitter cannons and bubbles are unleashed alongside the grand finale giant parachute.
Big Fish Little Fish say its family raves have all the freedom and excitement of a mini-festival right in the heart of cities and towns.
Tickets are £8.50 for adults and £5.50 for children.
Dreamland will be open all day. More details at www.dreamland.co.uk
