A drive-in Winter Wonderland, topped off with fireworks, is coming to the county this weekend.
The Winter Wonderland organised by Wrotham-based Phoenix Fireworks at Kent Showground in Detling, near Maidstone, is running from Friday, December 18 to Sunday December 20 with a drive thru festive attraction, concert and fireworks display, plus two extra days on Monday, December 21 and Tuesday, December 22 without fireworks.
Under Tier 3 restrictions, drive-in events are allowed and so are able to continue.
Families will drive in through a Christmas tree avenue promising surprises and the appearance of Father Christmas, his elves and reindeer where, from his grotto, he will be able to wave at youngsters.
Children can bring their letters to post to Santa on site before enjoying an evening of entertainment including a Christmas concert and fireworks finale on the first three evenings, and with pyrotechnics on the additional dates.
Each day gates open at 4pm and visitors can watch the show from their cars, in their own ‘pod’ 2m away from the next car.
Refreshment stops and toilets will also be available. Tickets are priced at £50 for a car, plus booking fee. Ticket holders can pop to the toilets and buy from the Food Villages during the event.
Book your tickets - though some dates are now sold out - at phoenixfireworks.co.uk
