Off Menu host Ed Gamble will be dishing up a helping of hilarious stand-up comedy with his latest show, Electric.
The comedian, who shot to fame with his food-based podcast in 2018, will be at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury on Thursday, November 3.
The 36-year-old began his career performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, starring in E4’s faux reality show Almost Royal and supporting the likes of Greg Davies on tour.
Since cementing his place on the comedy circuit, he has released his own stand-up special, Blood Sugar, on Amazon Prime.
In 2018, Ed and fellow comedian James Acaster launched the Off Menu podcast, which has since become one of the most downloaded podcasts in the UK and been nominated for multiple awards.
The weekly show sees well-known guests, such as Sir Lenny Henry, Ed Sheeran and Nicola Coughlan, discuss their dream meal with the hosts.
Tickets to the upcoming live recording of Off Menu, taking place at the Royal Festival Hall in London, sold out almost immediately earlier this month.
Since launching Off Menu, Ed has hosted a number of other podcasts, including Lifers with Ed Gamble and the Taskmaster podcast, of which he won the ninth series in 2019.
He also presents a weekly Radio X show with Matthew Crosby on Sunday mornings.
Earlier this year, the comic was announced as one of six rotating hosts of the game show Pointless.
Ed, alongside Sally Lindsay, Konnie Huq, Lauren Laverne, Alex Brooker and Stephen Mangan, will join Alexander Armstrong as replacements for Richard Osman, who announced in April that he would be leaving the show after 1,300 episodes.
Ed Gamble will be at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, on Thursday, November 3. Book online here or call 01227 787787.
