Sandcastle competitions, firework displays and Alfresco dance workshops are just a few of the free family events at this year's Herne Bay Festival.

Go back in time to the Victorian era for the themed event which is a huge highlight in the seaside town's calendar.

There'll be live music, art workshops and the popular event for all ages - Herne Bay's Got Talent.

If you're a keen crab catcher, then show off your skills and compete to catch as many crustaceans as you can!

The festival takes place from Saturday, August 22 to Sunday, August 30.
