There’ll be a red-hot event at Lullingstone Castle, near Eynsford, this weekend – whatever the weather.
The castle holds its popular annual fire engine rally on Saturday, July 2, and Sunday, July 3, when there will be 20 firefighting vehicles to admire and sit in.
You can also watch live fire demonstrations run by the Fire Service Preservation Group and younger visitors can learn how to squirt big fire hoses.
The 20 vehicles on show will range from Victorian horse carts to the present day’s shiny red fire engines.
The family days, where under-15s go free, are when visitors can bring a picnic or eat out at the café marquee on site. Entry for adults is £10.
The fun runs are from 11am to 5pm both days.
