Strictly Come Dancing pros Karen Hauer and Gorka Marquez will be getting audiences hot under the collar once again with their live show, Firedance.
The pair, who both compete on the BBC dance show, will be performing a live routine of sizzling choreography at theatres across the country, including Kent.
The show will visit the Orchard Theatre in Dartford on Thursday, March 2. Tickets for this show can be booked online here, or by phone on 03433 100033.
“This is our third year doing Firedance,” says Venezuelan-born pro Karen. “We have all the dances that the audiences love, like our tangos, our sambas and our salsas, and it just celebrates all the fun we have together as a friendship.”
“It’s still along the lines of what we did before,” adds Gorka, who joined the Strictly team in 2016. “We’ve brought in some more uplifting songs, some more modern songs and a fair few surprises too.
“The idea is still the same, obviously. We’re going to be dancing all night, there’s lots of fire and a lot of energy, so everything that people loved about it the last time is still there, just with some new things brought in which we think adds a new spark to the whole thing.”
Karen is the longest-serving professional dancer on Strictly, having made her first appearance with partner Nicky Byrne in 2012.
She has since danced with the likes of Chris Ramsey, Jamie Laing, Jeremy Vine and, most recently, comedian Jayde Adams.
Gorka made his debut on the show with EastEnders actress Tameka Empson and has since reached the final three times with Alexandra Burke, Maisie Smith and Helen Skelton.
He met his fiancée, actress Gemma Atkinson, on the show in 2017 when she danced with former pro Aljaž Škorjanec.
The pair have a two-year-old daughter, Mia, and announced in January that they are expecting their second child.
