A new festive attraction featuring a theatre, bar and market opens this weekend - plus a sprinkling of daily snow fall.

Castlemas opens on Friday, December 10 by Tonbridge Castle and runs for 10 days.

Organisers Kent production company, Bravo Productions, aim to bring the arts and local community together for the fairy-lit wonder and give everyone a treat after the ups and downs of the last year.

It will host more than 50 shows in its 300-seater Igloo Theatre, and will have a Santa’s Grotto; bespoke festive workshops, a Jingle Bell Bar and bandstand with live music acts.

It also has its very own ale - Jingle Pale Ale, brewed by Constellation Brewery.

The festive market, Mistletoe Town will be filled with wooden chalets and goods by local independent traders, in association with the TN card. All stallholders will be offering 10% off to TN card members.

Tickets to the workshops, grotto or Igloo will also guarantee access to the castle grounds where Mistletoe Town, the Jingle Bell Bar and the bandstand will be.
