Warming street foods, a bar and crafts and gift ideas will all be on offer when a festive market makes a return this week.
Broadstairs Christmas Market, organised by Zoom Events, returns to Victoria Parade overlooking Viking Bay tomorrow.
Street foods include traditional Mexican dishes and Oriental cuisine to crepes cooked with fair trade ingredients, while other foodie treats range from rich brownie slices and deep-dish cookies from Elle’s Bakery to Turkish delight, baklava, nuts and fresh coffee. And the Famous Last Stand bar will be serving up spiced cider and mulled wine.
Arts and craft stalls will line Victoria Parade while stalls with smaller crafters will be in a heated marquee on Victoria Gardens.
The market is free to enter, while evening events in the marquee between 7pm and 9pm will require a ticket, with stand-up comedy on the Thursday, jazz artist Katie Bradley and The Dave Ferra Band on Friday and Rhythm Shack on Saturday.
The market runs from tomorrow until Sunday, December 12, from noon to 6pm tomorrow; 9am to 6pm on Friday; 9am to 7pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
