The final headliners of the Main Stage at this year's rock music festival Ramblin' Man Fair have been announced.
Long Beach rockers Rival Sons will play the Planet Rock Main Stage on the final day of the three-day festival in Mote Park, Maidstone, which runs from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19.
The band, who last played at the event in 2017, will bring the festival to a close with their sounds evoking the bluesy rock of Led Zeppelin and the Black Crowes.
Emerging in 2012 as hard rock classicists with a modern edge, their sixth studio album last year, Feral Roots, was Grammy nominated, while the hit single Too Bad was also Grammy nominated this year.
Guitarist Scott Holiday said: “Rock ‘n’ roll is a keystone in our cultural identity and you can see, hear, and feel it gathering speed everywhere you look. It’s about to break wide open."
They join Saturday night headliners Lynyrd Skynyrd, playing as part of their Farewell Tour, Hollywood actor Billy Bob Thornton who will headline the Outlaw Stage on the same day with his band Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters, with other acts including Clutch and special guests Monster Truck, City of Thieves and A Thousand Horses, Whiskey Dick, Hawkwind headining the Grooverider Stage on the Sunday, Quireboys, Vintage Caravan and the New Death Cult.
It will be the fifth year for the event, which is organised by Spirit of Rock.
