Dancing on Ice 2013 finalist and EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas is to play Prince Charming in this year’s pantomime at Bromley's Churchill Theatre.
Matt is best known for his role as Anthony Moon in BBC’s EastEnders, starring opposite David Essex.
Since leaving the soap, Matt achieved great success in ITV’s Dancing on Ice making it though to the finals, followed by the UK tour of Celebrities on Ice.
He said: "This will be my first panto and I am gearing up for a fun-filled show. I have wanted to be in a pantomime ever since my Nan took me when I was a young boy and I can’t wait to play Prince Charming."
TV presenter Anna Williamson will star opposite Matt in the title role of Cinderella. Anna is best known as a Nickelodeon and CiTV presenter, Daybreak correspondent and entertainment reporter for Digital Spy.
Also joining this year’s star-studded line-up will be Andrew Agnew as Buttons, who returns to the Churchill Theatre after playing Smee in last year’s pantomime Peter Pan.
Andrew has become one of the most recognisable faces in children’s television having starred as PC Plum in CBeebies’ show Balamory.
Cinderella producer Martin Dodd said: "I am delighted that we have been able to put together such a fantastic cast. With live Shetland Ponies and lashings of fairy dust this year’s show is sure to be a magical treat for all of the family.’
