Don’t miss your chance to see a stunning new exhibition of pictures which capture the glory of everyday life in a seaside town.
Residents of Whitstable have submitted their own photographs which capture all four seasons, taken over the period of 365 days within 2013.
Here's a taster of just some of the shots on display in the exhibition at Whitstable Museum and Gallery, which runs until Saturday, August 30.
A Year in the Life of Whitstable is the latest in a now well-established brand of 365 projects organised by Nathalie Banaigs of Kent Creative Arts, who has held similar such exhibitions in Faversham, Canterbury and Sheppey, as well as previous exhibitions in Whitstable in recent years.
This latest exhibition will be officially opened by 365 supporter and Whitstable fan Sandi Toksvig – who recently auctioned a photograph that she took in Whitstable to raise funds for organisers Kent Creative Arts – at a private view on Friday night, July 4.
A Year in the Life of Whitstable has been planned to continue throughout and beyond the town’s upcoming Oyster Festival which runs from Saturday, July 26, to Friday, August 1.
