Organisers of the Whitstable Oyster Festival have hailed their fourth headliner for this year’s event at The Shuck.
Former Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell will be performing with his new band Zazou on Wednesday, July 29.
The indie star will play songs which have seen pack festivals and venues all over the world, as well as new material since going solo in 2013.
Festival spokesman James Penfold said: “We are incredibly lucky and excited to have Johnny headline a show at the inaugural year at The Shuck.
“The performance will encompass songs from his career in music, including brand new tracks scheduled for his second solo album.”
He added that the Cuban Brothers have confirmed a second show on Saturday, July 25 following high ticket sales and demand.
It adds to the lisst of acts already confirmed which include the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club, The Hamish Stuart Band, Tim Edey, and performances from The Comedy Impro All Stars such as Marcus Brigstocke, Stephen Frost, Andy Smart and Johnny Candon.
