The county's coolest amusement park has joined forces with the nation’s favourite family festival this Easter.
Dreamland in Margate bounced back for the season with free entry and some big fun for all ages at the weekend.
For the Easter holidays, it has been joined by Camp Bestival, culminating in a full park takeover and family party on Easter Sunday, April 21.
It brought with it some unique installations including the world's biggest bouncy castle, the 8m tall Love-Bot that spreads love and joy and a Bollywood tent, plus festival-style food and drink and plenty of instagrammable spots. All of which can be enjoyed throughout the school holidays.
Those in need of relaxation can dive into the pop-up Sleep Retreat with yoga and meditation from local relaxation experts. There is also festival mask making, and the chance to see cute and occasionally creepy creatures in the Dreamland Ark.
The takeover day next weekend will be curated by Family da Bank - founder and DJ Rob da Bank and his family team - and feature family-friendly DJs, live music and workshops for big and little kids.
Camp Bestival, held the first weekend of the school summer holidays in Dorset, has won Best Family Festival at the UK Festival Awards five times.
Rob da Bank said: “Some of our audience say that Camp Bestival is better than Christmas, and who are we to argue?
" So this collaboration is gonna be like Christmas, your birthday and New Year’s Eve rolled into one as Camp Bestival decamps to Margate and lands in the most amazing adventure space we can think of - Dreamland.”
