There'll be big hair, shoulderpads and sounds as a new 80s musical premieres this week.
Club Tropicana the Musical by Michael Gyngell is a summer adventure of love in the sun, with a soundtrack of smash-hit
pop classics performed live on stage.
It takes a fun-packed trip back in time to the 80s when hair was big, shoulders were padded, girls (and boys) just wanted to
have fun and mobile phones were shaped like bricks and weighed a tonne!
When a bride and groom-to-be get cold feet, they decide to jet off to sunnier climes - but little do they know they’ve checked into the same hotel.
It stars Joe McElderry, Neil McDermott and Kate Robbins, and its first stop on a UK tour is at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.
It is there from Thursday, January 24 to Saturday, February 2. To book tickets go to churchilltheatre.co.uk or call 020 3285 6000.
The show is also at the Marlowe Theatre from Monday, June 17 to Saturday, June 22. To book tickets visit marlowetheatre.com or call 01227 787787.
