A popular garden which had vowed to stay open to provide people with fresh air has decided to close amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Great Comp Garden in Borough Green took the decision today due to the Covid-19 crisis which has seen many public parks and open spaces closed.
It comes as the National Trust said it would be closing car parks and many spaces as large numbers of visitors were out at the weekend.
The seven-acre garden, which also has a 17th century manor house, gardens with woodland walks and a world class salvia collection, has followed the actions of many others in recent days as restrictions are tightened up to curb the spread of the virus.
