A taste of Americana music will be on offer this week ahead of a new music festival.
The Farm House in West Malling High Street will be hosting the taster session for the Black Deer Festival on Friday, to give locals a sample of what's coming up at the event next week.
The festival will be held in Eridge Park near Tunbridge Wells, and will feature stars from film star actor Kiefer Sutherland and his band to Ashley Campbell, the daughter of country great Glenn Campbell and Kent acts including the up and coming stars the Wandering Hearts, the Webb Sisters and Nashville star Sam Palladio.
The session at the Farmhouse runs from 6.30pm.
Featured bands include The Stone Thieves and Devil’s Rope, both of whom are playing the campsite over the festival weekend.
There will also be plenty of seasonal food, and cocktails and craft beers on offer.
To book for the festival, which will see more than 50 artists across five stages over three days showcasing sounds from Americana, blues, roots, authentic country, folk and bluegrass genres, plus authentic Americana-style meats, motorcycle showcases and rooted storytelling, runs from Friday, June 22 to Sunday, June 24.
