Thanet Campaign for Real Ale serves up its annual beer festival at Margate Winter Gardens on Good Friday and this Saturday.

More than 200 real ales, ciders and perries including a specially brewed festival beer, hot and cold food, souvenir glasses, live entertainment and giant pub style team quiz on Saturday at 5pm has a top cash prize of £100 for the winners.

Entry is free to CAMRA card carrying members on both days.

Admission is £5 on the door for Friday and £3 for Saturday. Children accompanied by well-behaved adults are welcome until 7pm. ID is needed if you look under 25 and want to buy alcohol.

Music on Friday comes from blues specialists Blue On Black.

The Planet Thanet Beer Festival runs from noon until 9.30pm on Friday, and noon until 8pm on Saturday.
