Kent will be dancing on ice this weekend, as the last three ice rinks in the county to open their doors welcome skaters. Here's where to get your skates on...
CANTERBURY ON ICE
Canterbury on Ice is set to open in the Dane John Gardens on Friday, November 29 until New Year’s Day. This year, the city council has brought the project in-house, with an enclosed rink large enough to cater for 140 skaters at a time.
The festive attraction will be open every day except Christmas Day, until New Year's Day. Children must be aged four and
above to skate. Tickets cost £12.50 per adult, £9 per child, or £38 for a family. Skating aids in the shape of penguins will be available to hire, subject to availability. To book or for more information, visit canterburyonice.co.uk.
WHITE CLIFFS CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR
Dover’s White Cliffs Christmas Spectacular returns for a fourth year on Sunday, December 1 until New Year's Day. The ice rink will be larger and there will be some 30 stalls selling crafts and gifts.
The Port of Dover event, supported by DFDS, is at Cruise Terminal One at Western Docks. Entry to the market is free. Details at events.doverport.co.uk
EASTWELL MANOR ICE SKATING
The covered outdoor skating rink at the spa near Ashford opens on Friday, November 29 until Thursday, January 2. Get in the spirit with mulled wine and mince pies and wrap up warm. It is open Monday to Thursday 2pm to 8pm and noon to 6pm Fridays to Sundays. Book at champneys.com

TUNBRIDGE WELLS
Ice skating in Calverley Grounds, which runs until Sunday, January 5, includes two rinks, the second of which is for two to four-year-olds, plus Bavarian curling from 6pm. Santa is also in his cabin until Christmas Eve. Book at thelittleboxoffice.com and tunbridgewellsatchristmas.com
BLUEWATER ICE RINK
The outdoor, undercover ice rink is back this year with a new, separate children’s rink. Located by The Village next to the lakes and under a clear roof, the Ice Rink is wheelchair-accessible and there are penguin and seal skating aids available.
