A gin festival returning for a second year to a city promises to be even bigger with more than 120 varieties to try.
The Gin Society Festival was staged at Canterbury's Westgate Hall for the first time in April last year.
This year it will return on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7.
Tickets this year will include a free G&T on arrival, plus a Copa glass to keep, a booklet with tasting notes and free tasters from distillers and masterclasses.
There will be four-hour sessions over the two days, at 6pm to 10.30pm on the Friday; noon to 4.30pm on the Saturday and 6pm to 10.30pm on the Saturday evening.
Local and national distillers will be on hand to showcase their expertise and knowledge in a series of master classes and tasting sessions.
There will be three exclusive gin bars hosting British and fruit gins, plus a cocktail bar with expert mixologists and non-gin based drinks including a selection of rums, prosecco and bottled ales.
There will also be live entertainment, and street food available to buy. Tickets for each session are now on sale and cost £12.50.
The festival operates a voucher system – vouchers are available in multiples of £5 from the voucher station.
