If you think you know the story of Henry VIII and his wives, this female-fronted musical will make you think again.
SIX tells the story of one of the most well-known divorcés in history but, this time, we get to hear from his unlucky-in-love wives.
The concert-style musical will be returning to the Orchard Theatre in Dartford from Tuesday, January 24 to Sunday, January 29.
Tickets are currently sold out on the website, but you can contact the theatre on 03433 100033 to enquire about returns or last-minute availability.
However, there are still tickets available for the show’s Tunbridge Wells tour dates in April. You can book tickets to see SIX at the Assembly Hall Theatre online here.
This fresh take on the famous Tudor tale is set against a backdrop of girl power and modern pop and, since its debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017, has become an international success.
The production has been a sold-out hit on West End and Broadway stages, as well as theatres across the country on its UK tour - including a visit to Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre last February.
Nominated for five Olivier Awards including Best New Musical, SIX is an 80-minute concert that gives each queen a chance to tell her story of historical heartbreak and ends in a celebration of independence and feminism.
The show also won the Whatsonstage Awards for Best West End Show and Best Off West End Production in 2022 and 2019, respectively.
The musical is currently visiting theatres on a nationwide tour. You can find a full list of dates on the SIX website.
