A tribute band that have just headlined Glastonbury Festival will be making their way to Gravesend for a gig just a few days later.
The Bootleg Beatles, who topped the bill on the Acoustic Stage on Friday night (June 28), are following up their huge festival set with a performance at this year’s Riverside Festival.
The group, who are one of the most well-known tributes to the Fab Four, will recreate the look and sound of John, Paul, George and Ringo at the annual festival on Gravesend Promenade.
They will be joined by noughties girl group Sweet Female Attitude who will be singing their No. 2 hit, Flowers.
Music fans can also hear covers of tunes from the Spice Girls, Arctic Monkeys and Tina Turner, as well as local bands GYG and Sunday Roast.
In between the acts, visitors can spend time in Fort Gardens where there will be children’s party games, workshops, magicians, dragons, puppet shows, glitter painting and a helter skelter.
This year also boasts a number of outdoor activities, including crazy golf, a climbing wall and the Ravesham Kidz dance tent with music and dancing for all ages.
The festival takes place on Saturday, July 6 and is free to attend.
There will be limited parking spaces in the Milton Place and Ordnance Road car parks and visitors are advised to use either the Parrock Street or Gurdwara car parks or travel by public transport.
Live music starts at 11am and the Bootleg Beatles will play from 7pm to 8.15pm.
