Ladies who lunch will get an extra helping of 80s hearthrob at a charity gig in Maidstone.
Go West stars Richard Drummie and Peter Cox will host a ladies’ lunch in aid of children’s charity Action Medical Research.
The pair, who had hits including We Close Our Eyes and King of Wishful Thinking, will be at Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel on Friday, October 7.
There will be a drinks reception followed by a two-course meal and a live performance, plus an auction with a prize draw.
Guitarist Richard has been a long-term supporter of Action Medical Research and has taken part in charity treks to Costa Rica and Venezuela alongside Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley, who performed at a similar event last year which raised £14,000.
Paula Ray, from Action Medical Research, said: "We’re so thrilled that Go West will be hosting this lunch for the ladies of Kent for the first time."
Action Medical Research has played a significant role in many medical breakthroughs since it began in 1952, from the development of the first UK polio vaccines to the use of ultrasound in pregnancy and is currently funding research into protecting more children from meningitis by developing a new vaccine.
Tickets for the lunch, supported by Next, are £50 and are available by clicking here.
