The hit musical Grease, which has been seen by more than 12m people in the UK alone, will bring its mix of cheerleaders, leather and catchy tunes to Kent this winter.
Tom Parker from The Wanted will play Danny Zuko, with Strictly star and former EastEnder Louisa Lytton as Rizzo. Danielle Hope, who won the BBC talent show Over the Rainbow, takes the role of Sandy.
The original 1950s high school musical features the T Birds, the sassy Pink Ladies and the whole gang from Rydell High, plus the songs including You’re The One That I Want, Grease Is The Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted to You, Sandy and Greased Lightnin’.
The award-winning production, choreographed by Arlene Phillips, originally opened in the West End in 1993 before touring the world.
With The Wanted, Tom Parker achieved two UK No.1s and nine Top 10 singles as well as selling more than 900,000 records.
Danielle Hope made her professional debut as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, after winning the BBC's search for a star Over The Rainbow.
Louisa Lytton played schoolgirl Ruby Allen in EastEnders before playing Beth Green at The Bill, and reached the quarter finals of the fourth series of the BBC's Strictly and took part in Channel 4's The Jump.
