Americana festival Black Deer has revealed its latest wave of artists for this summer.
Grammy-nominated guitarist Joe Bonamassa and Homeland actor Damian Lewis are among the artists set to appear at Tunbridge Wells’ Eridge Park later this year.
Blues musician Joe Bonamassa will headline the festival as his only appearance at a UK festival this year alongside chart-topping singer Sheryl Crow.
Since 2000, the renowned guitarist has released 15 studio albums, been nominated for three Grammy Awards including Best Blues Album and launched his own record label, Keeping the Blues Alive.
The label has released music featuring notable artists such as Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen and Paul Simon.
Also revealed in the latest line-up announcement for Black Deer is multi-instrumentalist BC Camplight, country singer Dale Watson and His Lonestars and American singer-songwriter Eli Paperboy Reed, among others.
Actor-turned-musician Damian Lewis will also be making his second appearance at the festival this year after releasing his debut album Mission Creep in 2023.
The TV star is best known for playing Nicholas Brody in crime thriller Homeland, for which he received an Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award.
The new wave of artists will perform alongside the likes of Seasick Steve, Hermanos Gutiérrez and The Shires, who have already been announced.
Black Deer is one of Kent’s biggest summer festivals and brings in rock, country and blues artists from all over the world.
Now in its fifth year, it is also one of the county’s biggest celebrations of Americana music and American counter-culture.
Alongside the music, there will be custom-built motorcycles, BBQ food, craft beer, live fire cooking, late-night entertainment and foraging workshops.
Black Deer Festival takes place from Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16 at Eridge Park. Tickets are available online here.
