Budding musicians, dancers, singers, comedians and variety artists are getting ready to enter a competition to find Kent's greatest artistic talent.
The Kent School Games Cultural Celebration 2014 is providing the stage, and £1,750 of prize money, to find and reward Kent’s genuine talent among the county’s youngsters.
The only two requirements for taking part are that participants attend school in Kent/Medway and are between the ages of four and 18.
The event will culminate in a final on Sunday, September 7 at the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells in front of a panel of experts.
Prizes of £1,000, £500 and £250 will be awarded to the winning acts to enable the winners to continue with their artistic training in their chosen field of performance.
Artistic Director and Judge Josephine Buchan, said, “ I have been absolutely blown away by the wealth and breadth of talent. This is the single most important artistic event in Kent for young people and its significance in nurturing and bringing out creative potential can't be underestimated.
