Daniel Craig's stunt double as 007 in Skyfall will be among the high-flying attractions at this summer's Kent County Show.
Andy Godbold and highly skilled colleagues in the Bolddog FMX Stunt Team, supported by Lings Motorcycles, will be at the show, to be held at Kent Showground in Detling from Friday, July 8 to Sunday, July 10.
He has also been a stunt rider in War Horse and a double for Captain America, and he and the team will be jumping gaps of more than 75ft and performing tricks in mid-air. They were also Britain's Got Talent finalists in 2014.
Show manager Lucy Hegarty said: “We are really pleased with the displays, bands and activities we have booked for this year. We are building on the success we had last year with the RAF Red Arrows, who performed an outstanding display on our opening day. We are equally excited to have Bolddog, the UK’s number one, freestyle motorcycle display team for 2016.”
Also entertaining the crowds will be the Royal British Legion Band & Corps Of Drums Romford, on Saturday and Sunday and flying overhead on all three days will be the popular Spirit of Kent Spitfire from the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar.
New for 2016 among the show's 140 attractions will be Joseph’s Amazing Racing Pigs. Six rare breed pigs, including Tamworth’s, Gloucester Old Spots, Saddlebacks, Berkshires and Oxford sandy and blacks will be amusing showgoers on all three days, hurl themselves over hurdles to race to their food bucket.
Organisers the Kent County Agricultural Society have also arranged entertainment for younger visitors. Popular Peppa Pig will be at the show with her brother George and Tractor Ted will on hand in its own area.
The Hedge Men, from the UK The Living Topiary creators of living entertainment art will be lurking around the showground so beware of any trees, hedges and bushes, while the Country, Game and Canine area will be bigger this year with new displays as well as firm favourites.
The Coakham Bloodhounds will be taking part in a display on Friday and a Parade of Beagles on the Saturday. New for 2016 will be Gamegoer Gundogs, with over 20 years’ experience they will be hosting gundog displays.
Lucy added: "Our visitors come to the show to be entertained and many of the demonstrations and displays have been part of the event for a good number of years. We invite them back year on year because our visitors tell us how brilliant they are."
