Ever fancied a tutored tasting of Kentish ales and lagers?
If so then take advantage of a reduced price thanks to English Tourism Week. Shepherd Neame, based in Faversham, is taking part by offering 20% off its daytime brewery tours from Saturday, March 14, to Sunday, March 22.
During the tour of the historic site, dating back more than 400 years, visitors will see the traditional mash tuns, taste natural mineral water from the brewery’s well, try some malted barley and smell locally-grown Kentish hops.
They will also be able to see bygone delivery vehicles and enjoy that tutored tasting. The experience lasts two hours, and usually cost £12.75 for adults and £8.90 for children.
During English Tourism Week only, visitors can apply the 20% discount to £10.20 for an adult and £7.12 to a child if they book online using discount code ETW15.
