Baking and cooking with children is likely to happen far more frequently as the coronavirus outbreak takes hold - as families across Kent are forced into finding more indoor activities to enjoy.
In a survey conducted last year with more than 2,000 mums and dad, one in six admitted to not having taught their children any basic cooking skills before the age of 12 - so now could be the time to help youngsters brush up on their basic kitchen skills as you all find yourselves at home a lot more looking for things to do.
The investigation also revealed that 59% of offspring belonging to those adults asked, could not use any gadgets found in kitchen cupboards and eight in 10 youngsters didn't know or understand anything about crushing garlic.
Measuring and weighing food items, also proved daunting for some - with 54% struggling to get to grips with kitchen scales.
