Take your four-legged friend for a paw-fect day out as one of the country’s biggest dog shows returns to Kent.
Paws in the Park, a barking bonanza of dog activities, games and competitions, will be back at the Kent Event Centre in Detling for two days.
The show, which attracts more than 30,000 visitors every year, welcomes pups of all shapes and sizes to compete in agility courses, show off their stunts and sniff out dog treats from specialist traders.
The main attraction is the arena where a packed programme of attractions and displays will be taking place over the weekend.
There will be high-jumping antics, impressive heelwork, gun dog displays, spectacular stunt shows and a parade of huskies and malamutes.
If your pooch wants to join in, there are plenty of have-a-go activities that dogs of all abilities can take part in, from recall races to splashing around in the aqua zone.
You can even put your pet forward for one of the show’s competitions and see if they can earn themselves a rosette or walk away as Best in Show.
There’s even a Scruffts competition for crossbreeds which helps highlight the importance of responsible dog ownership when it comes to different breeds.
To give your dogs a treat after the competition, you can pick up comfy beds, healthy dog biscuits, country clothing, hand-made collars and more from the traders on site.
Paws in the Park takes place at the Kent Event Centre on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15. Adult day tickets start from £15 and can be booked online here.
Weekend camping tickets are also available for tents, caravans and campervans. The ticket includes two nights with a camping pitch and access to both days of the dog show.
