Tuck into an array of foodie delights over the August bank holiday weekend.
The annual We Love Hythe Life Food Festival will return to Hythe Green from Saturday, August 26 to Monday, August 28 for three days of food, drink and entertainment.
The festival, organised by Hythe Life Magazine, is free to attend.
This year, there will be a focus on boosting the profile of the town’s local food and drink producers, as well as sustainability and diversity.
Many of the vendors that will be exhibiting at the festival come from within a 25-mile radius of the town and there will be stalls offering cuisines from all over the world.
Visitors will also be able to purchase gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
Some of the vendors expected to be at this year’s festival include the Confit Duck Bun, Sumo Donuts, Daows Thai Kitchen and Rap & Roll.
There will also be festival ales brewed by Romney Ales, a craft beer tent, Pimms and prosecco bars and a selection of cocktails.
Hemanshu Patel, managing director of Hythe Life, said: “It has been a difficult few years for festivals, we are glad we are able to operate this year and support the independent food industry along with raising the profile of Hythe.”
The festival will also boast a programme of live jazz, blues and acoustic music from local talent.
For those visiting with children, there will be plenty for them to do including funfair rides, craft stalls and the chance to hop on board a working fire engine.
The festival will be open from 11am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday and from 11am to 6pm on Monday.
