Some of Hollywood’s most iconic cars will be racing into Brands Hatch for its first American SpeedFest.
Famous motors on show will include the Porsche 917 from the film Le Mans with Steve McQueen, the iconic A-Team van, Back to the Future’s Delorean, the Starsky and Hutch Torino and the Dukes of Hazzard’s General Lee.
They will be among more than 500 classic American vehicles displayed at the Kent circuit, which will also have a host of other USA-themed family entertainment including a monster truck display, rodeo bull competition and hot dog eating contest.
On track, action will be headlined by the Euro Racecar NASCAR Touring Series. Led into each race by the Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car, the V8 monsters will provide bumper-to-bumper battles.
Other spectacular races will include the Pickup Truck Championship, pre-war Fords and Chevys battling it out for the Legends Cup, and the classic Mustangs, Falcons and Corvettes from Bernie’s Historic V8 Racing Association.
There will be a small British invasion on the day, courtesy of the Red Devils, who will be dropping in with a parachute display.
All ages will enjoy the fun fair and live music throughout the day.
