There’s a cracking Christmas on the cards as one of the county’s popular festive fixtures returns.
The Christmas market will return to the picturesque Rochester Castle Gardens from Saturday, November 27, for several weekends in the run-up to Christmas.
Visitors will be able to fill their festive boots with stocking fillers, unique gifts and mulled wine; enjoy live performances, a funfair and a Bavarian food village.
The market will be held this weekend on Saturday, November 27 and Sunday, November 28 from 10am to 6pm; and from Friday, December 3 to Sunday, December 5 – when it also coincides with the popular Dickensian Christmas Festival – and then between Friday, December 10 and Sunday, December 12.
Dee O’Rourke from organisers Medway Council said: “We know the Rochester Christmas Market and the Dickensian Christmas Festival were greatly missed last year and I am delighted that we will be able to celebrate once again.”
