If you're embracing Veganuary, there's a market right up your street this weekend.
The Market Hall in Gravesend town centre will be the venue for the Gravesend Vegan Market on Sunday, January 19, from 10.30am to 4pm.
The market will feature up to 40 stalls selling a huge variety of vegan fast food, healthy eats, artisan savouries, sweet bakes, craft cheeses, handmade cosmetics, ethical clothing, locally made arts and crafts
and plenty of charity stalls.
The event is organised by Vegan Markets UK which brings vegan food, drinks, clothes, cosmetics and more created by innovative, ethical and sustainable companies to towns across the country. It also holds a Maidstone Vegan Market on Jubilee Square, on several Sundays throughout the year with up to 20 stalls.
Coming up later this month also at Gravesham Borough Market will be a day of Desserts Around the World, which will be on Sunday, January 26, from noon to 4pm.
The event will be the second to be organised by the Altogether Stronger project, which aims to ease tensions between community groups and promote cohesion.
