Buckle up for an adventure as Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark rides back on to the big screen at Bluewater.
The film starring Harrison Ford, which picked up four Oscars at the 1982 awards including Best Art Direction, Best Sound, Best Film Editing and Best Effects, will be screened at the shopping centre's Cinema De Lux this weekend.
Directed by Stephen Spielberg, it is set in 1936, and follows archaeologist and adventurer, Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) as he sets out on an quest to find The Ark of the Covenant, which holds the answer to human existence. Yet, Indy is not alone and soon spots a group of evil Nazis desperate to get their hands on the key to the universe.
James Dobbin, director of event cinema for Showcase Cinemas, said: “Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark is a timeless cult movie that is loved by generations and has paved the way in cinematic history for action movies.
"We are delighted to screen this film once again as part of our Showcase Cinema Flashback series, which will see us show movie classics including, Elf, Stark Trek II – Wrath of Khan and Blade Runner.”
