It’s almost that time of year again!
Christmas is just around the corner and The Reindeer Centre is already in the festive mood with Santa’s Grotto ready to meet the children.
There is also a memorable opportunity to feed the reindeer!
“For years, we’ve been welcoming families and they always have a fantastic time at our reindeer centre,” said Sandra Fagg, who owns The Reindeer Centre at Capralama Farm in Bethersden.
“We only have a booking in place for Christmas Eve this winter. People can just turn up.”
“Father Christmas and his elves await the kids in their festive cabin and that includes a quality wrapped present with the option to purchase a souvenir photo too.
You can then walk through his enchanting 150ft animated magical grotto, through eight separate scenes.
This will lead through into the big Christmas animal barn and the reptile area where you can see all of the lovely animals on display including Carter the giant tortoise and the cheeky family of meerkats.
The donkeys, ponies, goats and alpacas will all be there to greet you, and then you have the opportunity to meet the stars of the show Santa’s magical reindeer
You can even have a chat and learn all about the reindeer from the handlers within the pen area and also the opportunity to purchase pellets to feed the reindeers and the other farm animals.
There is even the chance for the children to sing along with Santa’s elves on stage and play on the soft play assault course and pirate ship sandpit.
You can also have fun in the snow play area (artificial snow).
There are also food and drink options too.
Visitors can purchase hot drinks and fast food including burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, cold drinks, sweets and crisps while adults can also tuck into a complementary mince pie.
The Reindeer Centre is traditionally a popular choice for families looking to do something different at Christmas, especially on December 24.
