Organised by the East Kent Model Railway Society, the event is being held to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Birchington station, which opened in October 1863 following the completion of the line between Herne Bay and Ramsgate.
The exhibition will feature a dozen layouts of different scales and sizes, made by enthusiasts from clubs around the area and members of the society.
There will be trade stands selling secondhand models, scenery pieces and spare parts, and steam engine rides available for young visitors.
A display of historic photos will also be on show, courtesy of Birchington Heritage Trust.
The exhibition is on Saturday, October 12 at The Centre in Alpha Road, Birchington, from 10am to 4pm. Admission is £2 for adults, £1 for children and £5 for families. Call 07743 704547.
