Jack Dee to bring Small World tour to Tunbridge Wells, Ramsgate, Canterbury, Bromley and Chatham

Podcaster, gameshow host and stand-up comedian Jack Dee is hitting the road for his nationwide tour, Small World.

The tour, which kicks off its latest leg in Tunbridge Wells this month, will see the comic take his new masterclass in sarcasm to theatres up and down the country, including five Kent venues.

After this year’s opening night at the Trinity Theatre, Jack will visit Ramsgate, Canterbury, Bromley and Chatham during his eight-month run.

The stand-up star, who was born in Bromley and grew up in Petts Wood, began his career at open-mic nights during the 1980s.

He soon became a familiar face on the comedy circuit, known for his ironic and often deadpan delivery, and was named Best Stage Newcomer at the British Comedy Awards in 1991. The following year, he starred in his first TV show, the Jack Dee Show, on Channel 4.

He has since hosted several shows, including Jack Dee's Happy Hour and Jack Dee Live at the Apollo, and has also starred in sitcoms Lead Balloon and Bad Move.

Since 2009, Jack has been a chairman of BBC Radio 4 gameshow I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue and, in 2023, he launched a podcast, Oh My Dog, with fellow comedian Seann Walsh.

He has also appeared on the likes of Taskmaster, Have I Got News for You and QI and is a regular host on Comic Relief.

Tickets are still available to see Jack Dee at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury on Wednesday, February 12; the Churchill Theatre in Bromley on Sunday, September 7; and the Central Theatre in Chatham on Friday, September 26. You can book tickets to all dates online here.

Jack is also performing at the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells and the Granville Theatre in Ramsgate, however, these dates have already sold out.
